As the waste management crisis continues representatives from various Multinational companies have reached Trivandrum . A representative from an Australian company “The Remondis”, Mr. Thomas Block has visited major hotels and markets in Trivandrum to explore the various possibilities .Their representatives will meet with the chief minister and discussions will be held regarding various waste disposal methods. Remondis is a big multinational company that deals in waste disposal and recycling having their companies spread across 28 countries including India.
Mr. Thomas Block has reached Trivandrum to find alternatives as the only waste disposal factory remains closed due to social issues .He examined the various waste disposal systems at the Peroorkada market , a private hotel at SS kovil road and the activities of clean well group.
Cooperation opposition leader Mr. Johnson Joseph , councilor Mr. Gopal were also present along with Mr. block .”There’s a great difference in the way people treat waste disposal in India and Europe” says Mr block. He also said that he would once again visit Kerala to study everything in more detail and then suggest a suitable waste disposal system.
